LOS ANGELES: Debmar-Mercury is teaming with ITV Studios America for an original U.S. version of the British daytime talk show The Jeremy Kyle Show.

The talk show has already been cleared in more than 80 percent of the U.S. The show will debut in September 2011 on stations owned by the FOX, Sinclair, CBS, Hearst, Cox, Newport and CW Plus broadcast groups. The U.S. version will be distributed by Debmar-Mercury in the U.S., and internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The U.K. version debuted on ITV Daytime in 2005.

“Top stations from across the country have committed to a full season of The Jeremy Kyle Show, confirming our strong belief that this new U.S. version of a proven commodity will work as well with viewers here as it has in the U.K.,” said Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein. “It is easy to see why Jeremy is such a hit in Britain, where his show enjoys overwhelming popularity. We are confident American viewers will also be drawn to this great talent and his unique sensibility.”
