OWN Acquires Canadian Lifestyle Series

TORONTO: OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network has picked up the lifestyle series Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag from Picture Box Distribution.

Produced by Worldwide Bag Media in association with W Network in Canada, the series is hosted by Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic. In each episode the pair try out and review recipes, ingredients, appliances and food-preparation techniques to see if the average cook can re-created meals from cookbooks. The show has been scheduled to air on OWN in the daytime block starting January 3, 2011.
