Vision Films Gears Up for AFM

SHERMAN OAKS: The roster of highlights from Vision Films’ slate for the American Film Market (AFM) includes the 3D animated action movie Boogie 3D.

Also on the list is The Terror Experiment, a sci-fi thriller; No Ordinary Trifle, a romantic comedy; and Listen to Your Heart, a drama starring Cybil Shepherd. Vision Films is also offering the thriller A Matter of Justice, romantic comedy Cupid’s Arrow and family film Elle: A Modern Day Cinderella Tale. Zombie Die-ner is a horror-comedy, while Triads, Yardies & Onion Bhajees! is a crime thriller about British gangsters. Ving Rhames, meanwhile, leads the cast of Wrath of Cain. Rounding out the slate are Gerry Anderson’s New Captain Scarlet, Gooby, Beyonce: Destined for Stardom, Resurrection County and Punk Fugitive.

Vision Films heads to the AFM with new executives on board. Adam Wright was recently appointed executive VP of international sales and acquisitions. He was formerly the president of Regent Worldwide Sales, and prior to this was the senior VP of worldwide sales for Porchlight Entertainment. Liz Levenson is the new director of marketing and acquisitions manager at Vision Films. Levenson was previously the director of program development for CABLEready.
