BBC Worldwide Adds to Sales & Distribution Team for the Americas

NEW YORK: Jemma Adkins has been named senior VP of fiction within the sales and distribution division of BBC Worldwide Americas, relocating from the London headquarters to the New York office.

Adkins, a nine-year veteran of BBC Worldwide, will work to develop and executive TV sales strategies for the U.S. media market. She will manage relationships with BBC in-house and indie producers in an effort to seek out co-production opportunities for U.S. broadcast partners. Adkins was previously the head of content and development for digital media. Adkins will report to Matt Forde, the executive VP of sales and co-productions for BBC Worldwide Americas.
