Outlaw Dropped by NBC

UNIVERSAL CITY: The NBC legal drama Outlaw, starring Jimmy Smits, is the third casualty of the new TV season.

The remaining four episodes that have been produced will air on NBC in a Saturday slot. The network will now extend its newsmagazine Dateline to two hours from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays to fill the vacant period.

FOX’s Lone Star and ABC’s My Generation were previously dropped from the fall-season roster.
