NEW YORK: Auction Hunters, a new unscripted original series for Spike TV, looks at the world of storage-unit actions and the people who make their living hunting unclaimed property.

The series, set to premiere November 9 at 10 p.m., follows two of the best prospectors in the business in their quest to win auctions, acquire abandoned treasures and sell them for a profit. Each day in America there are more than 10,000 abandoned storage units put up for auction, and these two "auction hunters" are always looking for a big score, bringing in the prospect of big money.

The 8×30-minute show is produced by Gurney Productions, owned by Scott and Deirdre Gurney.
