ProSiebenSat.1 Group Signs VOD Deal with CBS Studios

MUNICH: A new long-term license agreement grants ProSiebenSat.1 Group the non-exclusive VOD rights to content from CBS Studios International for its maxdome service.

The agreement covers all current season episodes of shows such as NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS and The Good Wife. The most recent episode will be available on maxdome seven days ahead of its premiere on the linear service. maxdome customers will also have access to older seasons of popular shows.

Dr. Christoph Schneider, the managing director of maxdome, said, "This agreement is another milestone for us. By co-operating with CBS, maxdome now has also the largest offering of TV series on the German video-on-demand market."

Guy Petty, the VP of business development at CBS Studios International, added, "We are thrilled to be expanding our long standing relationship with ProSiebenSat.1 by making our programs available on maxdome. This allows viewers throughout Germany to stay connected with their favorite CBS television shows."
