LOS ANGELES: TV Land has picked up the reality series Forever Young from Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg’s Katalyst and 3 Ball Productions.

The six-episode reality competition Forever Young takes aim at ageism, exploring the generations’ ideas and misconceptions about each other. The "juniors" and the "seniors" will work together to experience each other’s point of view to see what they do and don’t have in common.

Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher serve as executive producers for Katalyst. JD Roth and Todd A. Nelson are executive producers for 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks US. Eliot Goldberg and Marco Bresaz serve as executive producers for TV Land.

"Ashton, Jason, JD and Todd’s take on the generation gap facing Americans today is brilliant," said Larry W. Jones, the president of TV Land. "The contestants in ‘Forever Young’ have challenging, touching but mostly hilarious interactions that make for some good, clean fun."

Roth, executive producer and CEO of 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks US, commented, "We’re so excited to be bringing this Eyeworks format to the US, and to be working on Forever Young with TV Land—a network that knows a thing or two about how family and generational dynamics play out on television. As a producer, it’s extremely gratifying to be working in partnership with a visionary parent company and a creative channel to adapt the types of shows that resonate with audiences all over the world."

"Katalyst is thrilled to join the TV Land team," added Goldberg, partner and CEO of Katalyst. "We’re all about pushing the boundaries of social belief systems and this show will do just that by placing different generations in situations that will create great comedy along with some poignant moments."
