MTVNI Sells 600+ Hours into Georgia

LONDON: More than 600 hours of programming from MTV Networks International (MTVNI) is headed to Rustavi2 in Georgia. 

The deal includes shows such as Punk’d, Pimp My Ride, Cribs, Jersey Shore and Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. Rustavi2 also has the rights to localize of package of content, as part of a MTV-branded environment, the first of its kind for MTVNI worldwide. The deal is the largest to date for MTVNI in Georgia. 

Caroline Beaton, the senior VP of international program sales at MTVNI, commented: “We’re really excited to announce this deal with Rustavi2 just before the start of this year’s Discop East. MTVNI will be in Budapest presenting titles such as the Nickelodeon live-action show Big Time Rush, the reality series The Hills, the dramedy Gigantic and documentary Famous Crime Scene. Beaton added: “We’re really excited to offer such a top-notch roster of entertainment programming at this year’s Discop East. Our ever-expanding catalogue of over 4,000 hours of programming, which spans landmark music shows, award-winning animation, ground-breaking documentaries along with world-renowned entertainment shows, continues to appeal to audiences the world over.”
