E1 Expands Digital Media Slate

PORT WASHINGTON: E1 Entertainment has taken on the North American digital distribution rights to a slate of content from ITV Studios Global Entertainment and ContentFilm.

The ITV Studios deal encompasses more than 185 hours of classic British TV series and miniseries. The ContentFilm agreement calls for the distribution via iTunes of more than 100 hours of TV series, miniseries and films. E1 recently entered into similar North American digital distribution pacts with PorchLight Entertainment and Peace Arch Home Entertainment.

"We are pleased to add both ContentFilm and ITV to our growing roster of content partners for whom we provide digital distribution services, offering their quality programming to our digital customers," said Michael Rosenberg, the president of E1 Entertainment U.S. "Along with our well-established physical distribution network, we have developed a significant digital infrastructure and will continue to drive digital growth through agreements like these and by securing rights across all media platforms as we acquire content for our library."
