Bravo to Host Search for Next Hit Songwriter

NEW YORK: Tentatively titled Hitmakers, a new elimination competition series for Bravo will feature undiscovered singer-songwriters who will compete to determine who’s ready for the top of the pop charts.

Bravo is teaming up with True Entertainment and The Writing Camp on the new project. In each episode, the winning song will be revealed in a performance by a special guest star from the music world. The winner of the series will receive a cash prize, a publishing deal with Sony ATV and a development deal with The Writing Camp for RCA/Jive.

Open calls for songwriters will be taking place in cities such as Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville and New York City.
