Gary Ginsberg Named EVP of Time Warner

NEW YORK: Former News Corp. exec Gary Ginsberg has been appointed executive VP of Time Warner, effective April 1, reporting to chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes.

In this newly created role at Time Warner, he will work with the company’s senior management team on a wide range of corporate matters, including overseeing marketing, public affairs and communications efforts. Ginsberg served as executive VP at News Corp from 1999 to 2009, and prior to this was a managing director at the strategic consulting firm Clark & Weinstock. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation; the Newseum, the national news museum; New Visions for Public Schools; and New York Cares. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
