DQE Scores Israeli Broadcast Deal

HYDERABAD: DQ Entertainment (DQE) has signed a broadcast deal for The Jungle Book with Noga Communications in Israel.

The 52-episode 3D HD series is headed to the Noga channels The Children Channel, Channel 8 and Logi Channel. The show has also scored pickups from ABC in Australia and Disney multiplex channels across Asia. NBC Universal acquired rights for home-video distribution of The Jungle Book for territories such as the U.K., France, French-speaking Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. DQE expects to announce further broadcasting, distribution and licensing deals for The Jungle Book in North America and other territories in due course.
