9 Story Secures Broadcast Deals for Almost Naked Animals

TORONTO: 9 Story Entertainment has sold its animated comedy series Almost Naked Animals to a host of new broadcasters in Europe and Latin America.

The 40×22-minute series was picked up by Disney Channel Italy, Disney Channel India, Disney Channel Latin America, Luk International for Spain and Portugal and NPO’s children’s channel Z@pp/Zeppelin in the Netherlands. It heads to Canal+ in France and Super RTL in Germany this fall.

Almost Naked Animals first aired on YTV Canada in January, CiTV in the U.K. in April, ABC Australia in May and Cartoon Network in the U.S. in June.

The show is about underwear-clad animals running a beach-front hotel.
