Viacom has revealed that Spike TV will officially rebrand as Paramount Network in mid-January.

Paramount Network will debut on Thursday, January 18, at 9 p.m. with a live, hour-long episode of Lip Sync Battle filming from the Paramount lot in Hollywood.

Later in the month, the channel will premiere WACO, starring Michael Shannon, Taylor Kitsch, John Leguizamo and Melissa Benoist. The six-part event series is inspired by the 1993 FBI siege of a religious sect that resulted in a deadly shootout and fire.

The new original scripted shows slated to air on Paramount Network early next year include Yellowstone, led by Kevin Costner; American Woman, starring Alicia Silverstone and Mena Suvari; and Heathers, based on the hit 1988 movie.
