Steve Golin Among RioContentMarket 2016 Speakers

RIO DE JANEIRO: Oscar-nominated producer Steve Golin is one of the keynote speakers lined up for this year’s RioContentMarket, which is slated to take place from March 9 to 11 in Brazil.

Golin is the founder of Anonymous Content, the production company behind such TV hits as Mr. Robot and The Knick, and the Academy Award-nominated feature films The Revenant and Spotlight. Producers Howard Gordon (Homeland) and Rhys Ernst (Transparent) are also expected to speak at the market, alongside distribution execs Peter Iacono (Lionsgate) and Olivier Dumont (eOne).

Reps from streaming services will include Erik Barmack, the VP of original productions at Netflix; Philip Matthys, content director at Hulu; and Tara Sorensen, kids’ programming director at Amazon Studios. There will also be professionals from such international broadcasters as the BBC, NHK, Al Arabiya and Discovery.
