Cyber Group to Rep TV & OTT Rights for Iqbal Film

Cyber Group Studios has signed on to distribute the animated feature film Iqbal, Tale of a Fearless Child for television and OTT platforms around the globe, excluding France, Italy and China.

Iqbal, Tale of a Fearless Child is based on the book penned by Francesco D’Amato and published in more than 30 countries. The Franco-Italian production was directed by Michel Fuzellier and Babak Payami. It tells the story of a happy boy who, in an effort to earn money to help his sick brother, is exploited in a rug factory and must rise against his abusers.

Iqbal, Tale of a Fearless Child was developed with the sponsorship of UNICEF. The movie, which won a number of awards since its initial theatrical release, aims to promote the fight against child slavery. It will be presented at the next Cannes Film Festival.
