Cartoon Network has secured agreements to bolster the L&M programs for Adventure Time and The Powerpuff Girls, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Polish handbag designer Sabrina Pilewicz will release the SP x Powerpuffgirls line. It represents the first collaboration between Pilewicz and Cartoon Network and features a collection of leather handbags inspired by The Powerpuff Girls.

The Powerpuff Girls handbags range will be promoted using the slogan “What is your superpower?” with Poland’s Next Top Model finalist Karolina Pisarek on board as the ambassador for the collection and the face of the launch campaign.

Leila Loumi, the licensing director for fashion and home at Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, said, “We’re very proud to be announcing another great fashion collaboration for The Powerpuff Girls in EMEA, as part of our continued celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary, and to be building on our reputation for partnering with really unique, high-end designers that have a shared DNA with PPG. Sabrina Pilewicz is a young, independent designer who, through her own strength and determination, has built a brand led by women for women. The fantastic handbag collection she’s created inspired by our superhero trio is the perfect embodiment of that with a big injection of fun too!”

Additionally, Cartoon Network and Mojang unveiled new components of the Adventure Time Minecraft Mashup partnership, including a line of consumer products such as Funko Pop! vinyl figures and apparel that will launch in August. Alongside the Funko Pop! vinyl figures, Funko will release three separate T-Shirt designs featuring artwork from the mashup exclusively for Journey’s Kidz.

Cartoon Network and Mojang also revealed the premiere date and a sneak peek of the new special episode. The new episode, titled “Diamonds and Lemons,” is slated to air on Cartoon Network on July 20 at 7 p.m. and in international markets shortly afterward. The 11-minute episode and limited-edition product line are based on the mashup launched last summer by Minecraft on console, PC and mobile.
