Local Versions of Warner Bros.’s Little Big Shots Set for U.K. & Spain

LONDON/BURBANK/CANNES: Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) has sold the format rights for the Ellen DeGeneres-produced unscripted comedy/variety series Little Big Shots into the U.K. and Spain.

ITV secured the rights for the British version of the show, which has been ordered straight to series. The U.K. adaptation will be produced for ITV by Warner Bros. Television Production UK’s Wall to Wall, with CEO Leanne Klein and Head of Entertainment Andy Rowe overseeing the production. Meanwhile, WBITVP has struck an agreement with Mediaset to create a local-language version of the show in Spain. WBITVP in Spain will produce the prime-time series.

The U.S. version of Little Big Shots is executive produced by DeGeneres and Steve Harvey, who also hosts. The format showcases young musicians, singers, dancers and other gifted performers. Warner Bros. International Television Distribution handles worldwide sales of the finished tape, with local production and format sales handled by WBITVP.
