SINGAPORE: Turner Broadcasting's new channel Oh!K, which features Korean dramas and variety shows from MBC, is being offered in Singapore through StarHub TV.

With the StarHub carriage, audiences in Singapore will be among the first to watch top-rated Korean programs, with many debuting within a month after their initial broadcast. On October 28, just one day after its Korean premiere, the drama Pride and Prejudice, starring Choi Jin-hyuk, makes its debut on Oh!K. Other hit dramas coming to the channel include Diary of a Night Watchman and You Are My Destiny, which is a remake of the successful Taiwanese drama Fated to Love You. Variety shows being offered include Infinite Challenge and the reality series Dad, Where Are We Going?

The addition of Oh!K on StarHub means that the platform now carries a total of eight channels from Turner Broadcasting.

Lee Soo Hui, the head of the media business unit at StarHub, said, “We are thrilled to strengthen our relationship with our valued partner Turner for the launch of Oh!K on StarHub TV. This allows Singapore audiences to be the first in the world to enjoy Oh!K—a channel that offers the best-in-class Korean programming. We are confident that viewers will be captivated by the stellar lineup on Oh!K which ranges from intriguing drama serials to laugh-a-minute variety shows.”

Marianne Lee, the VP of content for general entertainment at Turner International Asia Pacific, added, “Right from the start, we have not only made sure that Oh!K boasts the very best in Korean entertainment but also ensured that they are fast-tracked for Singapore viewers. We are extremely proud to broadcast the highly-anticipated Pride and Prejudice a day after its Korean premiere. Oh!K will soon become a favorite with StarHub customers.”
