Content from South Korea’s MBC is becoming available on Dailymotion’s global cross-device video network, effective immediately.
MBC will distribute video content from eight portfolio networks—MBC Kpop, MBC Drama, MBC Entertainment, MBC News, MBC Documentary, Mbig News, TV-People and MBC Classic—on Dailymotion’s cross-channel platform, which spans mobile, desktop and OTT. Dailymotion will promote MBC’s catalog of content to an audience of 300 million people around the world.
Users can access MBC’s content on the Dailymotion mobile app for iOS and Android, with such OTT devices as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and XBox One, and on desktop through a number of channel web pages.
TaeKyung Park, executive managing director of digital business at MBC, remarked: “We are thrilled to partner with Dailymotion, a platform renowned throughout Europe and North America. We hope to expand the reach of MBC content in the global market through this opportunity.”
