HOOQ Ramps Up Indonesian Content Investments

HOOQ has announced a slate of new content partnerships in Indonesia, where it has also introduced one-day sachet pricing and streaming of free-to-air channels.

HOOQ has strengthened its partnerships with MD Pictures, Starvision, Rapi Films and TBS Films, bringing theatrical films to the platform as HOOQ originals no more than 120 days after their theatrical debut. New co-pros with the studios will roll out later in the year. Titles include Danur 2: Maddah, Ananta, Alaspati, Insya Allah Sah 2, Bodyguard Ugal-Ugalan, DOA (Doyok Otoy Ali Oncom), Hanum RanggaNini Thowok, Salah Sasaran, Yowis Ben, Partikelir and Hello Salma.
