Novavision Extends International Rollout for ZeZe Candid Camera

PARIS, September 7: France’s Novavision has bagged deals
with RTL Germany, FOX Italy and Air Canada for its hidden camera gags ZeZe
Candid Camera
.

The gags in ZeZe Candid Camera are between one and three minutes in length. They are dialogue-free
and the show has no presenter, which makes it accessible to a wide
international audience. The gags are also available packaged as 40 half-hour
shows, titled Pop Corn TV. The
clips have built a large following with worldwide TV audiences and are also
sought after as content for alternative distribution platforms, including
mobile, Internet and transport companies.

For television, Germany’s RTL plans to broadcast the clips
every Saturday in a special show titled Camera Attack.

In the mobile arena, Swiss operator Swisscom and its Swedish
counterpart, 3G, both now show Novavision gags. Arena Mobile Asia has an
agreement to represent Novavision with operators in the Asian mobile market,
while Vodafone offers the clips to subscribers in the U.K. and Australia.

Air Canada and Aeromexico are the latest air carriers to
offer the ZeZe gags to their passengers.
In South Korea, the popularity of the clips on E Channel prompted rail
companies KTX and SAEMAUL HQ to screen them daily to their passengers as well.

Novavision will launch sales on seasons five and six at
MIPCOM, offering 150 new gags. In addition, buyers at the market will have the
first look at the Christmas Special, a
2×30-minute show shot last December.
