MIPTV Reveals Médailles d’Honneur Recipients


Federation’s Pascal Breton, Global Agency’s Izzet Pinto, Bambú Producciones’ Teresa Fernández-Valdés and Youku’s Weidong Yang are being recognized with 2018 Médailles d’Honneur at MIPTV.

Breton, the CEO of Federation Entertainment; Fernández-Valdés, executive producer at Bambú Producciones; Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency; and Yang, president of Youku at Alibaba Digital Media and Entertainment Group, will receive their MIPTV Médailles d’Honneur at a ceremony taking place in Cannes on Wednesday, April 11.

The prestigious MIPTV Médailles d’Honneur are awarded to senior executives who have made a significant contribution to the world of television and the development of the international TV community.

“It is a great honor to recognize these four exceptional industry figures, who have each, in their own way, made and continue to make major contributions to the international entertainment content sector, and whose vision and leadership set the standards in their respective fields,” said Laurine Garaude, director of the TV division at Reed MIDEM, which organizes MIPTV.
