LONDON: During the month of May, Zone Reality has scheduled special programming dedicated to ordinary people who are placed in extraordinary heroic situations, with a number of acquisitions made to support the lineup.

The premieres include the rescue series Real Heroes, a 13×30-minute series from Associated Television International that feature actual footage from heroes performing real-life rescues. From Eyeworks comes the 8×30-minute You Saved My Life, about people who are reunited with their rescuers to share their stories and thank them for saving their lives. A third series for the programming event, Rapid Response season three, comes from TVNZ. The show, comprised of ten half-hour episodes, focuses on the rapid-response vehicles used by the advanced paramedics of St. John.

Sam Rowden, the director of programming for Zone Reality, said: “Throughout May we’re celebrating heroism with a schedule packed with action, suspense, and real-life drama. Real Heroes, You Saved My Life and Rapid Response are three gripping series premiering on the channel which capture the very essence of Zone Reality. Each features fascinating stories of real people caught up in extraordinary situations and everyday heroes who count saving lives as part of their job.”
