Zeal and Animus Prep Music Specials for Telemundo

MIAMI, January 31: Zeal Television and Animus Entertainment
Group have inked a deal for Concierto Clandestino, two two-hour reality-based music specials for Telemundo.

Concierto Clandestino, currently in production at Zeal’s Miami office,
follows the trials and tribulations of young promoters as they attempt to put on
a big event. The first show features Latin superstars Paulina Rubio, Fonseca
and Obie Bermudez. A second
show follows in early March with stars like Teo Calderon and La India.

In addition to the specials, Zeal and Animus will be
delivering weekly 5-minute updates in which the viewers of Telemundo’s weekend
morning show, Nítido, can follow the
progress of the promoters. Additionally, a series of capsules is being created
for mun2 as part of its Friday evening show 18 and Over.

The funding was assembled by Animus and The Vidal
Partnership (TVP), the largest independent Hispanic marketing communications
agency in the U.S. Nissan and Sprint are the primary sponsors of the show.

“Both Sprint and Nissan have a huge commitment to Latin
music,” said Oswald Mendez, the managing partner at TVP. “By blending
outstanding music performances with an innovative reality concept, Concierto
Clandestino
is a program that allows our
clients to connect with their target audiences in a unique and different way.”
