Xilam’s Scores Pre-Sales on New Animation

PARIS, September 4: A Kind of Magic, the new animated comedy series from Xilam that is
set to debut on France 3 in fall 2008, has already been picked up by Disney
Channel in a host of markets, as well as by Mediaset and ABC in Australia.

The series is slated to broadcast on Disney Channels in
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Asia and Latin America.

The adventure series, aimed at children aged 6 to 11,
follows the ongoing adventures of a family of ill-equipped fairy tale
characters as they bumble their way through the real world. A Kind of Magic features Tom, the young hero who works tirelessly to
keep his family on track; Willow the Fairy and Gregore the vegetarian Ogre, who
are the mother and father in the series; Ferocia, the sharp-tongued witch; His
Highness the Toad, who is searching for a magical kiss; and G the genie, who
swapped his lamp for a mobile phone.

Marc du Pontavice, the founder and president of Xilam, said, “We're very excited to be unveiling A Kind of Magic at MIPCOM, and delighted to have the seal of
approval from France 3, the Disney Channels, Mediaset and ABC Australia. The
series combines a powerful mix of comedy, energy, color and originality. We
look forward to screening the first episode at MIPCOM and expect to lock down
further international sales shortly.”
