WSN INC. Expands Editorial Team

NEW YORK, July 9: In preparation for a range of new print
and online services in the coming months, WSN INC., the publishing group behind
World Screen
, has announced three new hires
and two promotions in its editorial team.

Nathaniel Berke and Kristin Brzoznowski
join as editorial assistants for WSN INC.’s English-language
publications. Working under Anna Carugati, the group editorial director, and
Mansha Daswani, the executive editor, Berke and Brzoznowski
will contribute to the online publications World Screen Newsflash, World Screen Weekly and TV Kids Weekly, as well as to the company’s eight print magazines,
led by the flagship World Screen.
The new additions come on the heels of Irene Lew’s promotion to associate
editor of WSN INC.

Brzoznowski joins WSN INC. from
the Hampton Sheet Magazine, where she
was assistant editor. Previously she had worked at America Online as
entertainment editor and staff writer.

With experience in journalism as
well as in website and graphic design, Nathaniel Berke joins WSN INC. from
Capital Roundtable, a company that produces educational conferences for
professionals in the private-equity-fund field and related industry services.
He has also worked as a freelance writer for various New York-based
publications.

Also in the editorial department
is Robert Valencia, the new associate editor of TV Latina. He was
previously newsroom editor for Hispanic PR Wire and a freelance writer for
Terra.com, The Miami Herald and Latina
Style Magazine.

Valencia will work under Guillermo
Chavez, who, effective today, has been promoted to editor of TV Latina and all Spanish-language publications. Chavez, who
reports to Carugati, joined WSN INC. in 2005. He was previously executive
editor of TV Latina.

Maria Teresa Alvarado, previously the editor of TV Latina, is now the director of Spanish-language content
strategy for WSN INC.

In related news, also joining WSN INC.’s operations is Raomej Caro, a graduate of Wesleyan University. As
administrative assistant, she will aid the day-to-day operations of the
company.
