Worldwide Broadcast Deals for RDA TV

LONDON: The sports and action-entertainment brands Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling (TNA), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bullrun and Real Madrid TV are headed to a range of new international broadcasters through deals signed by RDA TV.

RDA TV has recently signed new broadcast agreements for over 1,000 hours of TNA programming, including Sport TV in Portugal, Extreme Sports Channel and BT Vision in the U.K., Australia’s Fuel TV, Al Jazeera for the Middle East, Korea’s IPSN, Setanta in Africa, TVN for Panama and Malta’s Melita TV. RDA previously licensed TNA programming to Bravo for the U.K., Sky Germany, Foxtel and ONE for Australia, Canal 9 for Denmark and ESPN Star Sports for the Indian sub-continent. RDA TV has exclusive worldwide distribution rights for all TNA programming through 2012.

The company has recently licensed UFC programming to ESPN Classic for France, Digiturk in Turkey and QTV in Ukraine. RDA TV previously licensed UFC programming to ESPN for the U.K., TV4 for Sweden, Canal 9 for Denmark, MTV3 for Finland, RTL7 for Holland and Orbit-Showtime for the Middle East.

RDA TV recently took on exclusive worldwide distribution rights to 10 one-hour episodes of season three of Bullrun, a reality action series airing on Fox TV’s Speed Channel. The first deal has signed with Discovery for Australia and New Zealand.

Real Madrid TV is the English-language club channel for the Real Madrid soccer club. RDA TV recently concluded distribution agreements to license the channel in Southeast Asia to Goal TV, and to Canal Plus.
