Wild at Heart to Air on CCTV’s Everyday Jiayi

LONDON: The hit British drama Wild at Heart, which originally aired in the U.K. on ITV1, is to make its Chinese TV premiere on CCTV-8 on the Everyday Jiayi programming block, via a deal secured with ALL3MEDIA International.

The show will be dubbed into Mandarin for its CCTV outing. Wild at Heart is a drama about the lives of vet Danny Trevanion and his family, as the emigrate to South Africa to start a game park. Stephen Tompkinson stars as Danny and Amanda Holden as his wife, Sarah.

The deal was brokered by Adam Robinson, the director of programming for Chello Zone, who commented: "Wild at Heart continues to be enjoyed by millions of viewers in the U.K. and we are delighted to have secured this successful family drama as part of our ever-expanding program lineup on Everyday Jiayi. We are sure that the series will become a firm favorite amongst viewers in China."
