Wiggles Join KidsCo Lineup

LONDON,
October 6: KidsCo, the global kids’ network owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar
Group and Corus Entertainment, is adding the hit Australian property The
Wiggles
to its Asia
Pacific and sub-Saharan African feeds, as of this November.

Since 1991, The Wiggles has entertained children through song, dance and
educational content. The group, which includes Sam Moran, Murray Cook, Jeff
Fatt and Anthony Field, has sold more than 23 million DVDs and 7 million CDs
worldwide.

The Wiggles will add to KidsCo’s slate of educational
programming of animated and live-action series such as Inspector Gadget, Sabrina, Wallace & Gromit,
S Club 7
, Strawberry Shortcake, New Adventures of Madeline, Babar,
Dennis the Menace
, Franklin and Rolie Polie Olie.

Having launched just over
a year ago, KidsCo is now available in more than 40 territories, including
Spain, Romania, Ukraine, the Middle East, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Poland,
Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong and countries
across sub-Saharan Africa.
