LONDON/BURBANK: BT Vision in the U.K. this week launches WarnerFilms, a new subscription video-on-demand movie service from Warner Bros. International Branded Services.

WarnerFilms will deliver theatrical motion pictures from Warner Bros. Entertainment, offering up 28 movies each month, with seven new pictures added every week. The service is available for £4.99 per month or, as bundled with BT Vision’s Film Club pack, £6.99 per month. Titles will include GoodFellas, Zodiac, Training Day and Superman, among others. The studio already operates the WarnerTV SVOD service in the U.K. on BT Vision, Virgin Media, Top Up TV, Talk Talk TV and 3 (mobile).

“Back in 2007, BT Vision was one of the founding partners for our WarnerTV SVOD service, so it’s fitting that three years later we’re working with them again on the U.K. launch of WarnerFilms," said Malcolm Dudley-Smith, executive VP of business management at Warner Bros. International Branded Services. "This exciting new service gives consumers another way to access our world-class content at the touch of a button, 24 hours a day."
