Virgin1 Commissions Doc Series

LONDON, May 29: Virgin1
has commissioned ITV Productions to create a set of documentaries for its new &
Proud series, featuring
extraordinary characters and their lifestyles.

The six hour-long shows
will air as part of Virgin1’s prime-time schedule of original content this
summer, and will examine people who lead lifestyles tied to taboo subjects. The
series include Bunny Boiler & Proud, about men and women who go to extreme lengths to make themselves
heard by a partner or ex-partner; Love Rat & Proud, following womanizers, man-eaters and cheaters; Cradle
Snatcher & Proud, about men
and women who are in relationships with partners who are young enough to be
their children; and Gold Digger & Proud, centered on people who seek partners for their
money. The & Proud series
will also feature Sex Maniac & Proud and Kinky & Proud,
which explore the lives of people who are unable to control sexual urges and
those who are addicted to a host of nontraditional bedroom activities.

Daniela Neumann, the
acting director of programs for Virgin1, said, “We are excited to announce the

the people that pride themselves on living out some of the most taboo subjects
