VIMN Names Comedy SVP

NEW YORK/LONDON: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has promoted Jill Offman to head up its Comedy Central brand internationally, in the role of senior VP of comedy.

Offman will be reporting to Bob Bakish, the president and CEO of VIMN. She will now be overseeing how Comedy Central and its associated brands are positioned and presented in more than 70 countries outside the U.S. In an expanded role, Offman will retain oversight of Comedy Central’s international content strategy. She remains senior VP and managing director of Comedy Central UK. In this capacity, Offman reports to Dave Lynn, the managing director of VIMN UK, Australia, CEE and Russia.
