BURBANK/MUMBAI, May 10: Antoine
Villeneuve, previously with Jetix France, has been named as the senior VP and
managing director of Walt Disney Television India, effective June 1.

Villeneuve will relocate to Mumbai
to assume his new role, where he will oversee Disney Channel, Toon Disney/Jetix
and the newly acquired Hungama kids' television channel. He will be responsible
for overseeing Disney's growing television channel operations across all
platforms in India, with its three distinct channels making up the core of the
company's Indian television business.

Prior to Walt Disney Television

France. There, he oversaw all aspects of the channel and its online and

During his tenure, he presided over a period of significant development
and growth that included a major reorganization of the company and the launch
of the Jetix-branded platform, which led to a doubling of audience within a
year. His
position at Jetix France will be filled by Thierry Nicolas, the current CFO,
and Dominique Ducass, the current deputy managing director of Jetix operations
in France.
