NEW YORK: In this video interview, François de Brugada, the executive VP of creative and commercial affairs at Banijay Entertainment, talks about the increasing popularity of interactive formats, highlighting new Banijay titles, and also discusses the current appetite of commissioners. 

 

A relatively new player in the format business, Banijay Entertainment has grown substantially over the past two years since its formation. In this short amount of time, Banijay has become a powerhouse in the international arena, with 14 companies spanning ten territories. The company’s slate includes a number of innovative formats, covering genres such as reality, with hits like Dilemma and 71 Degrees North; factual entertainment, with The Secret Tourist and Operation Neighbourhood; and light entertainment, with My Parents Are Gonna Love You and Super Star Ding Dong.
