Viasat Launches Three New HD Channels in Sweden

STOCKHOLM: TV3 and the premium sports channels Viasat Fotboll and Viasat Motor are set to a launch their HD versions on March 10 in Sweden.

TV3 HD offers programs such as The Mentalist and Navy NCIS in high definition for Swedish viewers. Viasat Motor HD will broadcast the races of Formula One in HD. Also Moto GP is among the sports that will be broadcast in HD. Viasat Fotboll HD makes available the UEFA Champions League as well as additional matches from Barclays Premier League in HD quality.

The new HD channels will be available to Viasat’s satellite subscribers and to its IPTV subscribers.
