VH1 Preps New Original Series

NEW YORK: VH1—one of the 100 channels profiled in World Screen’s new U.S. Cable & Satellite Channels guide—will launch this September a new original series featuring TV personality La La Vazquez as she gears up for her wedding.

The series, of four half-hour episodes, with an hour-long wedding finale, will premiere September 19. It follows Vazquez as works out the details of her nuptials to Carmelo Antony, in conjunction with wedding planner Mindy Weiss, and as she juggles her day-to-day schedule. "From Charm School to the many reunion specials, I have loved being part of the VH1 family," says Vazquez, "and I’m even more excited to now share the behind-the-scenes of this very personal event in my life, my wedding, with that family of viewers."

The show is executive produced by Cris Abrego for 51 Minds Entertainment, La La Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony for Krossover Entertainment, and Steven Grossman on behalf of The Collective.
