Verizon to Carry Digital Programming from ION Media Networks

WEST PALM BEACH, May 7: Verizon will add ION Media Networks’
suite of programming channels to its FiOS TV’s lineup, including the
broadcasting group’s flagship network, ION Television.

ION Television features a broad mix of popular series,
movies, sports and specials targeted to families and viewers of all ages,
including Charlie's Angels, The
Monkees
, The Partridge Family, and Mama's Family, among others. Verizon will also offer ION's
recently launched 24-hour digital networks qubo, ION Life, The Worship Network
and iMetro. qubo is a multilingual network for children that champions literacy
and positive values through entertainment. ION Life features a lineup of
health, wellness and medical-related news and information from leading health
experts, plus consumer issues-oriented programming, talk shows, news,
information and technology-oriented programming concerning health and the
health care industries, as well as other lifestyle programming. iMetro features
cultural and lifestyle programming with a mix of news, entertainment and
sports. The Worship Network features inspirational programming and events such
as live concerts and worship seminars.
