HBO, Jasmine Group Align for SVOD Service in Cyprus

NICOSIA, June 24: HBO has
teamed up with Israel’s Jasmine Group to launch a subscription video-on-demand
service on Cyprus’s PrimeTV.

PrimeTV is operated by Cyprus’s biggest
privately owned telco, PrimeTel, the first company in this market to offer
triple-play services. The HBO SVOD service will be similar to the premium’s
channel’s on-demand offerings in other international markets, delivering
original series, documentaries and feature films. HBO and Jasmine previously
collaborated on an SVOD service for Israel on the HOT platform.
