NEW YORK: U.S. health and wellness network Veria has ordered a second season of 13 episodes of its reality series The Incurables.

The series follows patients who became advocates of a natural, healthy lifestyle after overcoming crippling illnesses or life-threatening diseases. “We’re very excited to bring viewers a second season of the emotionally charged reality series,” said Hal Rosenberg, general manager of Veria.

“Millions of Americans spend the majority of their lives in and out of doctors’ offices, clinics and hospitals in the hopes of finding that illusive treatment or surgery that will put an end to their debilitating pain. But for many, the journey doesn’t stop after surgery. The Incurables takes viewers on this journey with these patients, who are revitalized and recharged with an optimistic outlook, and even mission, to live a healthy, happy, long life.”

Rosenberg continued, “Our goal is not to preach, sermonize or push our beliefs onto people, but rather to connect viewers to the human faces and stories of people, who have discovered their own natural, healthy path in life through their unique life experiences.”

Veria TV is available on DISH Network and on Verizon FiOS.
