Veria Bolsters TV Lineup, Media Networks Team

ARLINGTON, May 20: Veria
has unveiled a new lineup of original series scheduled to premiere on its
natural-wellness lifestyle network, Veria TV, in fall 2008, along with naming
Michael Pepe as the president of media networks.

Pepe, the former president
and CEO of Time Inc. International, will oversee Veria’s linear HD channel and
its companion website. He has also previously served as the president of Time
Warner Digital Media and president of the company’s business information group,
which publishes Fortune and Money
magazines.

Veria TV’s new programs,
produced in high definition, join its schedule of original shows dedicated to
helping viewers embrace and enjoy a natural lifestyle. Empty Nesters shares inspirational advice and information about
how to find purpose once children have grown up, while The First Step features professional fitness trainer Kurt Chacon
helping couples start to get fit and live active, healthy lifestyles. Chasing
the Yum
will explore the world of
Asian cuisine by demonstrating how to make traditional restaurant dishes at
home in a healthier way. Also coming to the network are the pet series Natural
Companions
, the game show Whatta
Ya Think?!
, Labor of Love, What’s Brewing? and Hot on the Trail, along with Push Play and Side Effects.
