Venevision Novela Picked Up in Panama

MIAMI: Venevision International has firmed up a deal with Panama’s TVN for the broadcast rights to the telenovela Salvador de mujeres (Salvador: A Knockout Love), which made its world premiere at NATPE.

Produced by Venevision Productions in collaboration with Francisco Munoz and his production company Televideo, Salvador: A Knockout Love is the story of a boxer who unjustly loses his boxing license. He is then forced to work as a female escort, and all the women are unable to resist him. The novela stars Ruddy Rodriguez, Carlos Guillermo Haydon and Alejandra Sandoval.

Manuel Perez, the VP and CFO of Venevision International, commented: “This deal reinforces our successful relationship with TVN for which we are committed to providing Panama’s television audience with programming with top-quality productions and artistic integrity.”
