Vanilla Ice DIY Show to Return for Second Season

NEW YORK: DIY Network has given the go-ahead for a second season of the weekly series The Vanilla Ice Project, featuring the ’90s pop icon showcasing his passion and talent for home renovation.

The first ten-episode season debuted October 14 and airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. Each half-hour episode follows Robert Van Winkle (a.k.a. Vanilla Ice) as he calls the shots room-by-room in a home makeover. The season finale is slated for December 16.

"Rob’s home improvement knowledge has been an unexpected surprise for many of our viewers," said Andy Singer, the general manager of DIY Network. "He not only has skills important to DIY Network, Rob resonates with our audience. We are thrilled to continue working with him."
