Vacation with Derek Finds New Broadcasters

TORONTO/CANNES: Shaftesbury Sales Company has firmed up deals for the TV movie Vacation with Derek with a number of international broadcasters, including Disney in territories such as Germany, Italy and Latin America. 

The 90-minute made-for-TV movie is the follow up to Shaftesbury’s hit series Life with Derek. The Vacation with Derek telefilm adds to its broadcast roster Disney Germany, Disney Italy, Disney Latin America and Disney Japan; Nickelodeon in New Zealand; VRT in Belgium and Noga in Israel. Daro will represent the movie in Central and Eastern Europe and English-speaking Africa.

“Vacation with Derek is the perfect complement to Life with Derek, providing viewers with more of what they’ve come to love about the wildly popular McDonald-Venturi family,” said Shane Kinnear, the senior VP of sales, marketing and digital media at Shaftesbury.
