Univision Highlights Viewership Growth

MIAMI: Univision Network is set to end the 2010-2011 broadcast season as the fastest-growing broadcast network in the U.S. among adults aged 18 to 49.

Within the age range, Univision has grown its prime-time audience by 8 percent; on Friday nights Univision was the number one network among adults 18 to 34 and people 12 to 34 during the 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot.

Cesar Conde, the president of Univision Networks, commented: “Univision’s programming strategy continues to deliver higher audience levels in prime time, further establishing the popularity of our content and boosting our competitiveness vs. ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. We look forward to continued momentum this summer as we present more exclusive content and first-run programming.”
