Univision Expands Mobile Reach

NEW YORK/EMERYVILLE: Univision Interactive Media has struck up a partnership with MobiTV to bring video content, including telenovela clips and sports and entertainment shows, to mobile users.

A host of Univision content is now available to millions of MobiTV subscribers via mobile TV and video applications powered by the MobiTV platform. These applications are available on hundreds of mobile devices across major U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile. This includes clips of popular news and entertainment broadcasts, including Noticiero Univision, Primer Impacto, Despierta América; entertainment shows such as Escándalo TV and El Gordo y la Flaca; and signature shows and special events. Also available are drama series and telenovelas such as Asi es la Vida, as well as soccer highlights, daily horoscopes and more.
