Universal, Top Up Unveil SVOD Offering

LONDON/UNIVERSAL CITY,
October 27: Universal Pictures is aligning with Top Up TV for TVBox, a subscription VOD service in the U.K. delivering
current and library series from NBC Universal’s portfolio of episodic content.

The offering builds on the
success of PictureBox, Universal’s SVOD service for
feature films that launched on Top Up TV in 2006, with additional rollouts on
other platforms in the U.K. and expansion into Poland and Singapore.

Highlights of the TVBox lineup on Top Up TV’s Anytime service on Freeview include Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Friday Night Lights, Monk, Quantum
Leap, Rockford Files, Miami Vice and Columbo.
