Universal Channel Signs On for E1’s Shattered

MONTE CARLO/LONDON: Universal Networks International has come on board as a partner on E1 Entertainment’s new 13×1-hour police procedural Shattered.

Universal Networks International will handle exclusive pay-TV broadcast rights internationally, with the series to air on Universal Channel and 13th Street Universal. The NBC Universal-owned channels group has already partnered with E1 on the new series Haven, based on a Stephen King novella. Universal Networks International is co-financing the 13-part series, which is due to air on the Syfy channels internationally. Syfy in the U.S. is also on board for the show. The international Universal Channels also picked up another E1 show, Rookie Blue.
