UNI Fills Newly Created Marketing Role

 LONDON: Universal Networks International (UNI) has appointed Simon Presswell to the role of senior VP of marketing and digital initiatives, a newly created post that is aimed to support the continued expansion of the company’s international pay-TV channels. 

Presswell will lead UNI’s brand marketing and digital initiatives as part of an integrated growth strategy. He takes on direct oversight for two roles: the VP of web businesses and VP of marketing and creative services. He will work to set a framework for the expansion of global multiplatform brands and develop integrated distribution models and partnerships across multiple territories. Presswell was previously the managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa within the Universal Parks & Resorts division. 

Roma Khanna, the president of Universal Networks International & Digital Initiatives, commented, “Simon brings a strong suite of marketing and digital experience that will be pivotal in our ongoing delivery of strong channel brands around the world.
